{"id":119,"date":"2023-09-01T07:26:01","date_gmt":"2023-09-01T07:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maureengemarino.com\/?p=119"},"modified":"2023-09-01T07:26:01","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T07:26:01","slug":"tuna-kinilaw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maureengemarino.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/01\/tuna-kinilaw\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuna Kinilaw"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Prep:\u00a0<\/strong>2 hours\u00a0<strong>Cook:\u00a0<\/strong>1 minute <strong>Total:\u00a0<\/strong>2 hours\u00a0and 1 minute<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u25a22&nbsp;lbs&nbsp;tuna; skinned&nbsp;<em>deboned, and cubed<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21 1\/2&nbsp;cup&nbsp;vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a23&nbsp;tablespoons&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/panlasangpinoy.com\/what-is-ginger\/\">ginger<\/a>&nbsp;<em>minced<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;large red onion&nbsp;<em>minced<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a22&nbsp;teaspoon&nbsp;salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;teaspoon&nbsp;ground black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21\/2&nbsp;cup&nbsp;lemon or calamansi juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21 to 2&nbsp;tablespoons&nbsp;red chilies&nbsp;<em>chopped<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place the cubed tuna meat in a large bowl then pour-in 3\/4 cups of vinegar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let stand for 2 minutes then gently squeeze the tuna by placing a spoon on top applying a little pressure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gently wash the tuna meat with vinegar. Drain all the vinegar once done.
