{"id":121,"date":"2023-09-01T07:29:55","date_gmt":"2023-09-01T07:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maureengemarino.com\/?p=121"},"modified":"2023-09-01T07:29:55","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T07:29:55","slug":"special-chopsuey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maureengemarino.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/01\/special-chopsuey\/","title":{"rendered":"Special Chopsuey"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is a recipe for Super Special Chop Suey<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prep:\u00a0<\/strong>10 minutes\u00a0<strong>Cook:\u00a0<\/strong>25 minutes\u00a0<strong>Total:\u00a0<\/strong>35 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;small head cabbage&nbsp;<em>chopped<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;Knorr Shrimp Cube<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;small red bell pepper&nbsp;<em>sliced into squares<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;small green bell pepper&nbsp;<em>sliced into squares<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a212&nbsp;boiled quail eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a22&nbsp;cups&nbsp;chopped cauliflower<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a26 to 10&nbsp;pieces&nbsp;shrimp&nbsp;<em>head and shell removed<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a23&nbsp;ounces&nbsp;chicken liver&nbsp;<em>sliced<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a24&nbsp;ounces&nbsp;sliced chicken breast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a23&nbsp;ounces&nbsp;pork shoulder&nbsp;<em>sliced<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;medium carrot&nbsp;<em>sliced<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a21&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/panlasangpinoy.com\/onion\/\">medium yellow onion<\/a>&nbsp;<em>sliced<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a24&nbsp;cloves&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/panlasangpinoy.com\/what-is-garlic\/\">garlic<\/a>&nbsp;<em>crushed and sliced into small pieces<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a22&nbsp;tablespoons&nbsp;cornstarch diluted in 4 tablespoons water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a22 1\/2&nbsp;tablespoons&nbsp;oyster sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a22&nbsp;cups&nbsp;water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a23&nbsp;tablespoons&nbsp;cooking oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u25a2Salt and ground black pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat oil in a cooking pot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saute garlic until light brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add onion. Cook until soft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add pork and chicken. Saute for 3 minutes or until light brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put the chicken liver into the pot. Cook for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour water. Let boil. Add Knorr Shrimp Cube. Cover the pot. Cook in medium heat for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add cauliflower and carrot. Cover the pot. Cook for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add bell peppers, shrimp, and cabbage. Cover and cook for another 3 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add salt and pepper. Toss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add quail eggs and pour the cornstarch diluted in water. Toss and continue to cook until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer to a serving bowl.
